Body awareness is one of the greatest gifts to self. All too often, we see patients who are over worked and over burdened with the stressors of everyday causing havoc on ones physical, mental, and emotional well being. The following treatments are designed to engage the parasympathetic nervous system reducing stress and bringing balance back to areas otherwise holding tension. These treatments help with mind body connection and in turn assist in creating healthy muscle memory and improving tissue health.

All of Rain Wellness’ therapists are registered under the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia and are better known as RMT’s (Registered Massage Therapists). You can rest assured that you and your loved ones will be receiving the absolute safest care possible.

All of the following treatments with the exception of the "Quiet River - Lymphatic Drainage Massage" are hydrotherapy treatments. Hydrotherapy is the effective and proven use of water and temperature to treat injuries, control pain, and induce deep relaxation. Hydrotherapy enhances blood flow to specific tissues which improves circulation and cell metabolism. This allows the body to effectively release toxins and waste products improving tissue healing and recovery.

Hydrotherapy has long been used by many cultures through the ages with added benefits, unfortunately, in recent times, hydrotherapy has taken a turn down “Luxury Spa Lane” and is now perceived as a luxury-only treatment for those who desire pampering. At Rain Wellness, our Registered Massage Therapists are taking water treatments back, come experience hydrotherapy for yourself and "Invigorate your life"!

Chrissy has been a full-time Registered Massage Therapist since 2013 after graduating with honours from Collège Boréal. In her little hometown, she is praised for her healing touch and her ability to connect with the client’s body on all levels.

She is also an energy worker, practicing as a Light Priestess, having received her level 4 attunement in 2024.

Her approach to bodywork is rather unique. She works to slowly engage with the body to assess what it needs, working to alleviate any tension or pain by integrating Swedish, Deep Tissue and Trigger Point style massage, Myofascial and connective tissue release, and Reiki. She believes we all contain the innate ability to heal and uses an intuitive approach to create the ideal environment for your body to unwind. Through compassionate and careful listening, she addresses both physical and energetic issues, gently ushering your body toward peace, balance, relaxation and the potential for deep releasing of all kinds.
